With over 45 years of international experience in the financial sector, Evaldo B. do Amaral built his career holding executive leadership positions at Citibank, Citicorp, and Citigroup in various countries and global operations.
His career is marked by the management of large international projects, product development, banking operations, corporate administration, technology, and organizational performance improvement programs.
Throughout his career, he has led business transformation initiatives, cost reduction, and process improvement at regional and global levels.
In 2000, he founded Amaral Consult Inc., a company dedicated to providing strategic support to international companies and investors, offering financial consulting services, business planning, international structuring, auditing, internal controls, due diligence, and business expansion between Latin America and the United States.
His experience combines strategic vision, corporate governance, financial management, and in-depth knowledge of international markets.

Osvaldo Amaral is an experienced Intellectual Property Advisor, with over two decades of experience counseling companies, research institutions, and government-linked enterprises across the United States, Latin America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific. His practice spans the full spectrum of IP strategy, technology commercialization, and U.S. market regulatory compliance — integrating legal, technical, and business dimensions into cohesive, results-driven advisory mandates.
With a foundation in Aerospace Engineering and a J.D. specializing in Intellectual Property Law, Osvaldo brings a rare combination of deep technical fluency and legal acumen to the protection and monetization of complex innovations across aerospace and defense, healthtech, medtech, clean energy, agribusiness, software, and industrial technology sectors.
His IP advisory work encompasses patent and trademark prosecution and portfolio strategy, freedom-to-operate and patentability analysis, global IP due diligence, licensing and technology transfer structuring, trade secret protection, and the development of multilateral IP strategies across the USPTO, EPO, LATAM, and Asia-Pacific IP systems. He has personally prosecuted over 4,500 patents throughout his career, serving clients ranging from multinational corporations to emerging technology ventures.
Beyond IP, Osvaldo is well-versed in technology transfer and commercialization strategy, assisting companies in transforming proprietary innovations into market-ready assets through licensing architectures, joint venture structures, spin-off formations, and capital raise support. His commercialization advisory practice spans both private sector mandates and public sector frameworks, including SBIR/STTR grant alignment, Other Transaction Authority (OTA) contracting, and defense and government procurement pathways.
On the regulatory side, his U.S. market entry advisory extends well beyond a single agency. Osvaldo advises clients navigating multi-agency compliance environments, including the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for regulated food, drug, device, and cosmetic products; the Federal Maritime Commission (FMC) and U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) for import, export, and cross-border trade structuring; the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) for product registrations and environmental compliance; and additional federal regulatory frameworks as required by each client’s sector and market entry profile.
